Adaptive Discovery is the latest, patented innovation from Ultimus. While others continue to focus on making their process design and development tools as easy to use and complete as Ultimus, Adaptive Discovery changes the game entirely--addressing the biggest challenge of BPM projects--defining processes in enough detail to enable automation.
It allows automated business processes to be deployed without requiring complete process maps, models, or definitions. Instead, the Ultimus BPM Server identifies when a process is undefined, capturing that "unruly" event and notifying a process expert.
Process Experts, using a new module Ultimus Director, view the details of the unruly incident, discovering what the required flows and rules should be. They can then define, test, and deploy new rules for the process. The BPM Server then executes the rule and the incident moves forward. Future incidents with the same type of information are handled automatically. The process has adapted itself in real time. As more and more incidents are handled, the complete definition of the process is established.
